The east side north breach of the Industrial Canal was about 250 feet wide. Steel sheet pilings came to rest in a dramatic fashion remaining interconnected and looking like a giant metal grosgrain ribbon. At the left is the Florida Avenue Bridge. Photo/Roy Arrigo
